What on Earth is this? Below are some statistics which shows who has done what in the group. As you can see, some of our members have been in the Apa for a very long time, while others have literally just joined. The first set of statistics only show the current members, not the past members, while the following set of stat’s show all members as at Mailing 141.
Depending on how much or how little you contribute, every one can be ranked on the “Dignan apan ranking index” using a “ghodawful formula” ™ which is very VERY complicated, yet is able to judge your ranking based on number of contributions, number of mailing you are a member and number of pages contributed...
The following are different styles of presenting the stats, occasionally, they will be inaccurate due to the Authors work/social commitments. As such, they are sometimes not accurate and should not (in any case) be taken as official.

- A - apan number
- B - former apan number
- C - Current apan (Denoted by an asterisk)
- D - Apan’s Name
- E - male/female/partnership
- F - Number of mailings in which apan was officially a member of the apa.
- G - Number of mailings to contain contribs from apan
- H - total number of contribs by apan
- I - total number of pages by apan
- J - pages per mailing of apa membership (I ÷ F)
- K - Dignan apan rank index.
- L - Rank position of all apans according to K
- L1 - Notes
- L2 - Number of pages to reach 1,000 pages (1,000 - I)
- L3 - Number of years to reach 1,000 pages (L2 ÷ J ÷ 6)
In case you missed what was written just above in the first paragraph, the table below shows the progress of all apans as of Mailing 139 (or is that Stew 139??) 8^D
In any case, it was compiled in a table using MS Excel ® Which means that some of the calculations are (probably) a little off at this time (maybe one or two decimal places). If this jogs your memories of bygone days as a member of the Apa, why don’t you send Dan an email and enquire about rejoining.
